I-4 and Maitland Boulevard Interchange


Florida Department of Transportation crews will shift eastbound Interstate 4 lanes to the right Dec. 11 between the exit ramps to Maitland Boulevard (Exits 90A and 90B) and the entrance ramp from Maitland Boulevard to eastbound I-4. Crews will close one or two eastbound I-4 lanes between the exit and entrance ramps from 11:30 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. nightly through Dec. 17 for milling and resurfacing, weather permitting. The lane shifts will remain in place through January.

Lane Closures

  • Dec. 11
  • 11:30 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One or two lanes may be closed on eastbound I-4 near the Maitland Boulevard interchange for milling and resurfacing activities.
  • Dec. 14 through Dec. 17
  • 11:30 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One or two lanes may be closed on eastbound I-4 near the Maitland Boulevard interchange for milling and resurfacing activities.

The lane closures at the I-4 and Maitland Boulevard interchange are part of the $8.9 million stabilization project to prepare for the Ultimate I-4 Trans4mation. The stabilization project will last approximately 18 to 24 months.
