| New Maitland Interchange Will Improve Safety and Traffic Flow |  | One of the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) top priorities in Central Florida is the Ultimate revitalization of Interstate 4, and the current work to stabilize a retention area located within the I-4 and Maitland Boulevard interchange is preparation for just that. The stabilization will allow crews to widen I-4 and reconfigure the interchange as part of FDOT’s Ultimate I-4 improvements.
