APTA SURVEY SHOWS TWO-THIRDS OF AMERICANS WOULD USE HIGH SPEED RAIL |
A national survey released by APTA shows two-thirds of American adults say they would use high speed rail if it's an option with the top reasons including shorter travel times, the cost of flying or driving and the convenience of local transit integration.
Election results for governor in key states, including California and New York could accelerate high speed rail in those states. In Florida, 2,000 people are expected to attend the Florida High Speed Rail Industry Forum in Orlando November 8 and 9. |
