CALIFORNIA AND FLORIDA TALK PRIVATE INVESTMENT IN HSR |
California and Florida are saying funding shortages for High Speed Rail Systems may become the responsibility of international consortiums to build and operate the trains. Florida's Governor Rick Scott is interested in discussing Florida's High Speed Rail with international, private investors and California has agreements with eight consortiums to exchange information about rail systems.
Additionally, the U.S. Public Interest Research Group (U.S. PIRG) has issued a new report that says the belief that roads pay for themselves is a myth. |
