U.S. DOT Redirects Wisconsin and Ohio Funds and Norman Mineta Discusses HSR |
The U.S. Department of Transportation has redirected $1.195 billion in High-Speed Rail Funds originally designated for Wisconsin and Ohio. The funds will be redirected to high-speed rail projects already underway in other states. More information about the redirected funds are available on the U.S. DOT website. The states receiving the most of the redirected funds include:
- California: up to $624 million
- Florida: up to $342.3 million
- Washington State: up to $161.5 million
